Not really. The person was saying how Europeans love to talk about the good things but fail to recognize the wrongs. Unlike Americans who aren't afraid to realize their **** ups.
Both America and Europe is great if you're white. But unlike the US, non-whites aren't allowed to be themselves, nor are they always meant to feel like outsiders. Don't get me started on the countless articles which talk about European ethnocentrism, arrogance, and heavy prejudice.
But it's hard to ignore the past, when European history is marred in bloodshed, genocide, racism, colonization, and imperialism.
