Americans are always up front about the problems America has, Europeans never display that kind of self reflection, and it's destructive tbh. Telling yourself you don't have a problem when you do is not a good look.

Living in the past is more of a problem than living in the present, I'm not saying Europe doesn't have problems in the present but at least we don't have black people hating on white people because of stuff that happened centuries ago, it's good to know your history but it's also good to remember that the millions of non-racist whites of nowadays should not be blamed for the things that white people made long time ago, the amount of black americans I've seen that say they hate white people because of the slavery when they weren't even alive is a bit creepy, it just gives you inferiority complex seeing as white people are the majority which leads you to self esteem and self hate problems. And no, I'm not white nor I have ever been victim of racism in Europe thankfully, however when I was in New York 2 weeks ago the owner of a restaurant wanted to kick me out because he thought I was Arab, his words, not mine.
