Europe is a continent. Japan a country. Europe as a whole is 10x bigger market than Japan.

Gay marriage is legal in 19 states in the US vs. 11 countries in Europe.
And before any of you say anything, you have to realize that the US is roughly the same size as Europe. We're one country divided to 50, I guess you could say, separate little countries (called STATES). So each state has it's own set of laws. Marriage is usually left up to the states to decide until a federal law is passed.
