But you don't measure it by how much they spend on charity next to their fortune if they have the good intention to help people. If they pay one dollar or 1 million it doesn't make a person bad or good as long as they're spending a penny on others.

^I agree, and I never said I judged her as a bad person. I'm just saying that if I were as wealthy as she was, I'd feel an obligation to share more of my wealth, and I think she should too. She can do without the cigarettes and overpriced clothes from time to time.

p.s. This isn't really a direct attack on Britney, but celebrities in general. Yes...even Sheryl Crow.

You REALLY didn't watch 'For The Record', lol.
About the 'obligation' you mentioned, that's you. I think she gives what she can, and when you say she should give more than what she does, you're automatically judging. You also tend to forget she has two kids an ex-husband to support.
And you would give half of your hard work - It's her work, don't say it's not hard for her to keep up, you simply can't know - to other people and keep only 10% of it for yourself? Ooookay.

It's not conditional at all. I just mentioned it because I was trying not to argue with you about this matter, cause arguings are tiring and generally don't go anywhere. It just happened to be about Britney, that's all.

Looking at something from a a non-stan point of view when you are a stan has become impossible on ATRL.

Just because Britney is rich doesn't mean she has to boast and be careless about her finances. Yes, that includes charities. Money evaporates. She has to think about the long run... family, kids, etc.,. Britney isn't trying to be Mother Theresa... she helps when she can and I'm sure she will start being active again.
Anyway, I hope the album rakes in at least 600K. I got my copy the day of and in my opinion a whole lot better than Blackout. I have high expectations regarding the first week sales.

My guess for "Circus" between 475,000-510,000.

I hope that her and Leona can both eventually reach 2X platinum. I also hope Carrie can reach 3x platinum. Considering she's already almost at 2.5 million she'll probably do it

Yes I did, and I vividly remember that assistant friend of hers encouraging her NOT to buy an outfit she already owns LOL. That's what made me turn off the tv...well that, and the fact that I was frantically trying to finish homework. Yeah, I know Britney isn't the only woman out there that binges in clothes, but that still doesn't make it right.
Anyways, I'm tired of arguing about this. We're just going to have to agree to disagree.

I think Britney has the potential to go past 500K. She was at Rockefeller, so that might help.

She's def' doing 400k and that's amazing for itself.
Anything above 450k is welcomed and I think 500k is likely.
I still think she got a shoot @ 1m WW.

and her ET video debut, and all this good press, i mean i remeber In The Zone sold like 226k its first day i think, and it sold over 600k, but she promoted that one 10x more, but still i dont think 500k is unreachable at all...
Britney has the potential to debut with more than Beyonce or Kanye did

YOUR WEAKEND TOP 10 CHART PREVIEW: As we head into the home stretch of the sales week, it’s all about the resurgent Britney Spears, whose Circus (Jive/ZLG) has far exceeded expectations and now appears headed toward 470-490k. Just what the doctor ordered—a feel-good story heading into the holidays. The only other debut that will make the leader board is Akon’s Freedom (SRC/Universal Motown), which should wind up at #8 with a projected 90-95. Otherwise it’ll be the usual suspects: #3 Taylor Swift (Big Machine), 170-180k; #4 Beyonce (Music World/Columbia), 160-170k; #5 Kanye West (Roc-a-Fella/IDJ), 150-160k; #6 Twilight (Chop Shop/Atlantic), 120-130k; #7 Nickelback (Roadrunner), 110-120k; #9 Now 29 (UMe) 85-90k; and #10 a dust-up between David Cook (19/RCA/RMG) and High School Musical 3 (Walt Disney), both trending toward 80-85k. Speaking of trends, next week’s Top 10 will break the recent pattern of domination by one or two labels and will instead be spread among 10 different ones. (12/5a)[
