Nope. I grew up like a typical monolingual American
. I learned Spanish in high school and Japanese in college. I mean I wouldn't call myself fluent yet in it, mostly because if I were to be dumped in a Japanese college right now I'm not sure if I'd survive but yeah my conversations I can have in Japanese is as natural sounding as my English

And try next semester? It'll be worth it, especially if you like learning new languages!
