You're right. Her debut inspired a lot of the chicks out during that time.
NSN was a huge crossover success, and paved the way for a lot of artists out now (Rihanna, Ciara, Keyshia Cole, etc.).
Brandy and Darkchild created a sound with Full Moon that no one else had done before, and change the face of Pop/R&B (listen to it before you judge, it was waaay ahead of it's time

Without "Afrodisiac", you wouldn't have GGGB, as Rihtard stated that it was her main inspiration during the recording process.
