So apparently, Greece has gone Gaga. Promo is everywhere. Her songs are playing a lot more frequently and she's become a popular topic in conversation.
The Athens show is almost sold out. She has sold 52,000 tickets so far and could end up selling over 60,000
I agree with you guys about ARTPOP. While I don't think its Gaga's best work, it's still a great Pop album. The messiness of the era and the way that the press was dragging it really really affected it. If the media says its a bad album, people will blindly follow that opinion. There was pretty much a bandwagon for hating Gaga that started with it.
I will be forever pressed that DWUW didn't fulfill its massive potential.

This performance is SO underrated. The way she twists the song from being about a carefree and nonchalant attitude to being one about loneliness and remorse, almost like the stages of intoxication. The way the subtle melodies are illuminated in a way which you can't even hear in the studio version. Plus the outfit she wore with the hair halo is sooo art pop.
"Just Dance... when I scream your name, and you don't call"
Why has she not done Just Dance acoustic more often? This performance is flawless. I've always wondered if the extra lyrics in the chorus were added in spontaneously, or if they were possibly original lyrics she cut to make the song more radio friendly.
I just imagine when writing this song, she wrote it acoustically like this, with tinges of sadness. I've never thought of Just Dance as just a party song. It's a sad song.

I was always really interested in how would LoveGame acoustic turn out.
About JD lyrics, I read that 'da-da-doo-doo' were just place-holder, but they were catchy, good, and ultimately weren't changed.
