I've done BEY & ARTPOP so far and the results have felt very accurate in terms of what tracks people generally like the most vs dislike the most.

Basically, her and Joseph Kahn came up with the Brooklyn Bridge/mermaids/couture doctor concept, and I'm guessing that the fire escape scene was one of the first scenes shot, and when she shot it, she decided "F**k it!". Joseph Kahn got mad cause he knew the original concept was 1,000,000x better, Gaga got mad, he left and disassociated himself from the video, and we got what we have now.

This explanation reeks of Gaga saving face after the video dropped and people hated it. This one journalist wrote in her book that Gaga spilled tea to her about how Joseph Kahn didn't want Clarence Clemons in the video because he wanted to replace him with a young, hot model. In addition, Kahn is the person who filmed the video we got, so I think that proves those scenes were going to be part of the final video they had planned but they ended up just using those scenes on the balcony.

Oh god please no. The less creative freedom Gaga gets, the better. She clearly can't handle it. I don't care if she becomes a puppet again if it means she'll finally deliver a decent album again.

I think it might've been from last year bc one of the contestants answered "Paula Deen", which would've made sense if that episode was recorded in June/July 2013 when she had that whole racism controversy.

But even then, Gaga was #4 when she wasn't even in the middle of an era. And according to something I saw, in an episode from May, the question was "Who is one of the most famous/popular pop singers?" and Gaga was #1.
