Funny, I was just thinking about the layout when I entered the thread.

I'm sure the hype will come back once IPB gets their stuff together and completes the new software. It sucks that they've delayed it for so long now. It looks bad to those who are unaware of the situation, but in reality it's not ATRL's fault at all.

Pre-release copies (early beta) of IPS4 have been made available to select license owners over the course of the past month to make the process of finding bugs and whatnot go faster. A more public beta is literally just around the corner, and the official release will be following soon. I'm not sure if the admins will be starting their own beta during IPS' or waiting for the official release, but both should be here by the end of the year anyway.

Also, the developers have started posting tutorial videos, which suggests that these functions have been perfected and are ready for release. I think a lot of stuff right now is just cosmetic touch-ups, coding bugs and overall responsiveness.

We'll see not going to expect anything as per usual when it comes to the update.

Well, at least when IPS4 is ready for a public release we most likely won't have to deal with any major patches during the beta. Also, iirc, the admins already have the coding and everything ready, so it won't be too long after software release that we'll start seeing changes on here.
