When my Dad found out I was a Madonna fan (I was 14 when he found out, in 2006) he slapped me in the face . Yes, that's right .

I could never really forget that and left home 1 year later at 15

I can relate as well. My dad and I are on good terms now though.

The Confessions Tour really helped me during a difficult time . Forbidden Love performance especially as someone with Middle Eastern descent really stuck with me (had so much meaning- two men holding hands) as well as Jump and the Have You Confessed? ending . I really see that tour as a coming out celebration but maybe it's just me.

Yeah . The song that turned me into a stan is Hung Up but Confessions the album first and the tour later on played major roles on coming out to my family and friends and also in the way I perceived the world .
