You are seeding your already-downloaded files as well as you are downloading the rest. And thats the big legal problem, because you are the one who actively shares illegal files as well.

They cant come for me in my country if i download it just for my purpose, but when I share it with others, I can get sued.

I dont do this. It usually lowers my internet speed to ... . Unless I use paid VPN services. I just rather download files directly.

No. You just use it for the application. So the computer forces it to use the proxy. It's super fast. But it depends on your internet speeds and settings.

Film studios often track IPs of those downloading cam recordings of movies and send reports to their ISP, so it wouldn't surprise me if a company as greedy as EA was doing the same.

Either way, using a host like Filedrive is both safer and faster

People who actually pre-ordered the game on Origin know that they can go download it now right? Some people have already received their physical copies from Amazon too. I thought this leak was a lot more ninja than it actually was.

Still waiting on a crack... people with physical copies have to wait to install it too due to Origin.

The pre-downloaded game is missing some key files though, that's why it probably won't be cracked before the release.

The same thing happened with GTA V. The PSN file leaked but no one could play it because they intentionally leave out important files for when this happens.

If someone gets ahold of the disc then a crack could happen before release, but it's coming out Tuesday so it's not like it'll be a long wait anyway.
