Gaga's doesn't really have a PR team. She never has had one. She has managers that serve as "PR people".

I just realized that the whole Angela thing happened during the time her and Troy were splitting up. Her team was desperately trying to make things work without him so I think they just didn't have time or didn't know what was happening. Lots of hectic things were happening around that time.

Not really. At least for me. I liked Gaga because she was mysterious. She was refreshing. She easily went from interesting to annoying overnight. The meat dress was the height of it all, and it should have ended there. That dress is iconic! To reinvent herself, Gaga should have ditched her gimmicks. BTW was well received, more than people recall, but it isn't something we think of as great because Gaga appeared to be out of ideas.

She kind of did that this era, though. All of her looks when she was on award shows had been toned down, also the TV appearances were really toned down and in general she hasn't been as crazy as she was during, let's say, The Fame Monster.

But let's be real, it was her gimmicks that put her on the spot. You say she was "cool" "mysterious" and "refreshing" but that kind of thing only last for a few years within an artist's debut material. You know pretty much all the ins and outs of Gaga's celebrity life, you know how she performs, and you've seen probably over 30 performances of her on T.V. It's impossible for her to still be mysterious and refreshing. Nor is it what we should expect from her anymore. Now what we need is a true artistic growth in musicality. Something that tells us she's grown and is ready to comeback.

I'm also tired of people saying that they want Gaga to do something new but will insist she go back to working with RedOne I'm sure she could cook up something real good with him but can we all be honest with what we really want?

Basically. She just tried the same formula over the span of years and it got old. I love how she tried to reach people with BTW and had evolved her sound, but I hate how her image was still this unearthly being who would probably wear a bag of chips. Consistency just hasn't been her best friend in the last few years. Hopefully Gaga can manage to do something refreshing for her next solo album..I'd love that. Ultimately I'd like for to let the music speak for itself..let the art speak for itself. Speak through music, not through explanations and costumes.

Everyone was praising her for doing "normal" and toning things down at the beginning of this era, but she abandoned that the minute she abandoned Troy. Clearly she hated the idea, but it's understandable. Normal just isn't Gaga and we should never expect it to be.

I agree with all of this. Gaga's mystery was appealing for many. As time went on, there was a call to change that never really happened. It was more like, how can I up the gimmick to gain the most attention. The ultimate tool would have been a major new shtick, which never happened.

And yes please I agree so much with the RedOne bit.

There is nothing wrong with fake hair or wigs. It's fun and helps complete looks without destroying your natural hair.

I think the whole concept is cool anyway. It's not like she hasn't been wearing wigs since day 1 of her career anyway so I don't know why everyone would be so up in arms about it.
