It's sad that VMA ratings are the only thing some of these stanbases can hold on to when their fave is losing in every other department. Do you honestly think this phases the BeyHive in any way?
Well Rihanna's numbers are low because the show was on a Thursday which gave it more competition and it's a weekday. Any other VMAs held on a Thursday we can compare to?
And WOW at Gaga's years (2009-2011 and 2013) being the highest rated.

You want to talk about star power when Britney nor Gaga have even scanned platinum while Beyoncé is already 2x platinum, and in less time. Celebrating viewers of an award show acting like Beyoncé was the only performer or star there. So pathetic. Especially considering her performance is universally praised and her album is sitting in the Top 10 on iTunes. I may be able to understand these attempts at dragging if it went horribly and she wasn't increasing in sales but that's not the case...
