Lana deserves it at some point but I don't know if she'll ever become "mainstream" enough to the point that MTV will recognize her like that. It also doesn't help that her music videos have been dwindling in quality ever since Ride.

She's put out better stuff than other artists these past few years, and was awarded at European VMAS. Also, Taylor's IKYWT video won and that was a Ride rip-off, but everyone knows Lana did it best. It is only right that she gets it someday, especially since she is a future legend.
