The unspoken tension between our faves is the biggest problem. If Beyonce loved Rih and treated her the way she treats other urban artists (ex: Rita Ora) I know that the Hive wouldn't hate Rih. But instead Rih and Bey don't really acknowledge each other, and each Stanbase feeds off of the negative energy.
Beyonce and Rihanna also have completely different approaches to their careers and different types of people gravitate to each. 99% of the Navy and Hive listen to both of them, but the "rivalry" has lasted for so long not only because of Rih and Bey but because we know how to get under each other's skin.

I'm pretty sure if she did care about critical acclaim, she would not perform sexually and say extremely explicit lyrics as a mother because the white feminists were on her back and she did get backlash.
Beyoncé does not follow trends. She literally does what she wants to do. And her choices are always good, she puts good work into it and make sure she gets the spotlight, that's why she gets critical acclaim.
There's a difference between being natural and being desperate to get something. Please, learn it.

Hate? I really couldn't care, I love Rih and stan for Bey. Some members make it their daily mission to try and rile the other fanbase up for some kii's and reactions and drags and warning points, and if that's the life you choose to live and how you spend your days then by all means continue but select members don't represent a whole, on both sides

This thread is a good example why. Rihanna nor the navy show any respect for the queen.when Rihanna first started she named Bey as her biggest inspiration then she blew up and wanted to act brand new.that plus the fact she let the Jay z rumors fly to establish her career when she was still a flop are the main reasons why. I don't think people would mind Rihanna ha success as much if she paid homage. For instance Katy has massive single success but we don't hate her. She knows her place. The navy acts like Rihanna is more talented or influential than Bey and she's not.

When you see how much work Beyoncé puts into her craft and then you see RIHANNA who does the bare minimum but still gets rewarded.
Its sorta leaves a bad taste in your mouth.
I get that they both are successful in their own rights but I don't care for mediocracy.
Knowing that Rihanna actually has the ability to get better(as a singer/entertainer) but chooses not to is just....<<<<<

That's your opinion and you're wrong. Rihanna works hard because it she didn't she would be another Ashanti, Rita Ora, Mya, Cassie, Kelly Rowland, Amerie, and the list goes on.

Beyonce had basically destroyed every other females career at the time including Ashanti so Rih was suppose to be just another casualty. Instead sge found her stride and has been running that race since and instantly, you were either Hive or Navy. Even the media bought into it and would drag Rihanna on a regular but she rose above it all. My ONLY issue with Beyonce is I wished she had stood up to her father more and reached down to help Kelly. She had the power; she could have helped her but everytime Kelly came out with something, here comes Beyonce overshadowing her.

Rihanna was considered Island-Bey when she debuted. Then Bey came out with B'Day and the blogs started claiming Ring the Alarm was about Rihanna. Rihanna became more successful and the media kept comparing their image and music during the GGGB era. Her album was huge, B'Day was less so, so then obviously that meant Beyoncé was fading and Rihanna was taking her place. But Bey didn't go anywhere and we've been fighting ever since
There's this idea that there can only be one successful black female pop star at a time. Beyoncé pretty much made everyone seem basic, the white girls too, but the media and fans only focussed on Rihanna because she was black. It didn't help that she had ties to Jay.
Deep stuff.

I'm a part of the army and the navy, but I can't hate on Beyonce, is more against her stan-base, there's something wrong with the hive, like everyone praises beyonce and they still come to attack you because you were being honest in some points about her. I'll admit that in some posts I come hard for her just to get back at them, but she's fantastic.

Every sentence Kelly Rowland said had Beyonce's name in it (like liquor on her lips--grins) and you see where she is today so Rihanna did just fine and concentrated on self. You didn't hear people constantly running to Beyonce asking her to pay homage to Whitney, Mariah or Patti so miss me with that weak argument. Plus, Rih didn't start those Jay Z rumors so why should she even address that messT.

They each have what the other lacks.
Rih has success while Bey has respect.

True, they did try to market her as another version of Bey but she was smart enough to know EARLY there was only one Beyonce. If others had been as smart they would be here today. .cough cough Ashanti. Rih cut her hair off the minute she even had a little leeway to control things and from there it was all up. She found her niche and owned it. Ciara COULD have done the same but she became a Beyonce clone in the end and met her end.

Every single girl you mentioned worked harder than her & is more talented with the exception of Cassie.

A lot of simpletons see two black women slaying and just have to pit them against each other.
While Hive/Navy rages on, these bitches are stomping the other girls but we forget...

Because Beyonce and Rih don't acknowledge each other, so everyone assumes they don't like each other.

Yea rih and Bey stand for opposite things. And fans listen to both anyone who says different is lying. As for the tension, rih started it. Bey was so supportive to rih starting off, wrote a note of encourage for her first performance and everything. When rih didn't or the rumors too rest, that's when Bey drew back. Rih liked the attention ore maybe it was true idk. Rih should have shot it down and respected their relationship. Also Rih should have said publicly like Katy that Bey was better and they weren't on the same level back in the day. Now Rihanna is huge and she's waited the appropriate amount of time to claim herself as the best. Katy is paying her dues to Britney, Bey all the legends and in a few years she's gonna stop doing that which is fine cuz hopefully she'll be a true diva then.

You see, that's where you're wrong.
The Hive can be ruthless at times & overprotective but you need to consider - random fanbases hate on us for literally no reason. It's like the pop fans against us and we obviously are going to be feisty.
Not all of us are like that. If you don't like Beyoncé, fine. It can be because you don't like her music or whatever but if it's because of a really stupid reason and remembering you don't know her personally then you are going to get clocked.
I really love Beyoncé, she's done a lot for me.
