She's unlikely to top it, but it's not because of "performance artistry".
That performance is special because it was the moment Gaga first truly unleashed what she was about and shocked the world. You can't just recreate that. It was a moment in time that could only have happened in the beginnings of her career. We will never be shocked like that again because we're used to it now.
However, we are seeing her topping herself. There was the meat dress, then the egg, and arguably then the Swine vomitting.
In terms of quality of performance, she's much better now vocally and in terms of dancing.
mind you I had already searched her extensively after watching the Just Dance video and listening to some other bonus tracks. The Poker Face video solidified me as a stan
