who are you to say, who has & who hasn't heard the album.
You say 'XO' & 'DIL' will only be known because the televised performances
and it's certs, and yet the entire album is 2x platinum.... you make no sense.
So you telling me, the 2M people who bought the album are only listening
to 'XO' & 'DIL'.

No, I'm saying her fans will obviously know the songs but people who aren't fans or don't keep up to date with her music as much won't. There will obliviously be more than 2 million people watching and even then, not all 2 million who bought the album will be watching. So there will be plenty of people who know who Beyoncé is - and her older singles - but won't know her new album tracks.

Isn't that what matters though? Her fans?! Haters won't buy the album anyway. They've heard about it and didn't.
This will allow people who were on the fence of buying the album to get a taste of the visuals before buying it.
And you don't have to know the song performed to enjoy the spectacle. If you can't enjoy a live performance because you can't sing the song, then Im sorry for you.
And the same thing could be said about every artist performing.
BANG BANG has only sold 500K.
Usher has sold less than that. Same with Maroon 5 and everybody else. When you think about it, BEYONCÉ songs are more known than the songs that will be performed tomorrow night.

Of course fans are important but it isn't a tour and people aren't just tuning in for an intimate gig with Beyoncé, it's an entertainment show and people want to be entertained. Not everyone who isn't a fan is a 'hater', there'll be lots of people who like her more popular stuff and want to see her performing the hits they know. Just because they didn't buy the new album or don't follow her every move doesn't mean they dislike her.
You can still enjoy it, but I don't believe you can enjoy it as much if you aren't familiar with the song. And people will WANT to hear here perform her bigger hits.
Yes but those songs are official singles, have music videos (or are coming), have been promoted and have been released to radio. That's a bit different than an album track.
