But Roar was so radio & GP friendly that the only way you can hate the song is if you hate a regular hit song.

Well that's asking for a lot. There are some gays that are legitimately disliked for just being annoying as ****.

"Flamers" or however they are referenced from what I've seen are more disliked for their behavior than their sexuality.

Disliking people for being annoying is completely reasonable and shouldn't be held against straight people as a means of criticizing them.
