The movie is set in an asian country and it's filled with asian villians and only one "white savior". It's a such a played out trope.
It's basically another age-old racist narrative of pure white woman (scarlet johansson) being violated by scary, asian men.
And there's a lot more to it but in short: the movie is racist.
