Sadly, thats even a more baffling explanation that doesnt make much sense.
I mean, once the album was finished, & Roar was chosen & Katy had "let the light in"....then why burn the wigs, to indicate that she had let go of her former self?
Why bury ha things in a casket, with ppl crying...when she was abt to release another fun pop record??

Wait, weren't Katy's own fans claiming this would be her "dark era1!111!!!" pre-album release and now they want to claim this album was never supposed to be dark?
Either Katy was misguided in what she wanted this album to be or Katy's fans need to shut up and stop acting like they know tea. Am thinking it's a little of both.
Because Katy was strong enough to overcome it, and not wallow in her own self-pity. She turned something negative into something so positive, and eventually a smash hit in "Roar". Katy's not the type to try to capitalise on her bad relationship and whine about it to get some more coins. She's no victim.

It's kinda basic knowledge to not speak on your album as a major artist if the basic details aren't set in stone yet. She went the other route, hence the confusion.
