I seriously wonder what other tricks she would pull off in the future in a theatrical sense. I hoped the fiber optic wig would've been a spectacle in a performance but anticlimactic Gaga has been with us for a while

The fiber optic wig is kind of a non event. I mean she used it a bit before the ARTPOP era began and it really didn't even look fiber optic. I know it was used in the DWUW Alan Carr performance but it's just not really a highlight. IMO she'd have to use it in a video with the right lighting.

GMA and AMA performances are awesome though, but I know what you mean. Although really I just think I miss the flare she had when she was just starting. She just seemed really confident and ready for anything.

Haha. More than anything though, I mean the Born This Way performances. I am SO pissed at myself for not doing anything Gaga related other than "oh cool, let me buy Marry The Night." SO much I missed out on that could have been something special. Oh well. It's special to me now regardless.

I used to think that maybe it was in the spur of Gaga as a rising star that she was able to pull stuff off like back in the day to be shocking, but I think it's just her creative vision now (not for shock exclusively, but in general )

I mean at the MMVA we got the pyro bra, then in the BtW era we got teal pubic hair

Her creative team from TF to BTW is virtually the same though. And actually for the BTW era we got the horns, the "vessel" and quite a few other crazy things (I know you're just referencing MMVA but the era as a whole is much more complete than that). It can't be her team. It's just that she's got to do something actually shocking now for it to be noticed. The vomit thing was the most shocking thing we've had from her in awhile. It's not my taste or anything but it's true.

Her creative vision for ARTPOP seemed to be more in line with technology and pulling the fanbase together through social media. But honestly it didn't work because they weren't focused from the get go.

The BtW Grammy arrival was really good tbh most people overlooked it. It was one of the best live things she did in the BTW era, and like the last best thing she did as she was obnoxious with her attention (I used to respect )

The problem with gaga is that generally people anticipate shocking, and she tried to top herself as she went on but it didn't work. And if Gaga tones it down it's not 'Gaga' anymore and she lost her edge.

So that's why if she's using C2C era to transition 180, and the GUY video was like a goodbye to the 'Gaga' we all used to know, I'll support her on that

Isn't that just putting her into a box like the rest of the public though? I mean why does she have to top herself or make 180's for people to just like her as she is or stop following her I honestly just don't understand. Maybe I just love her too much and am indeed a delusional fan.
