I have got to say that I came into watching this video with such extremely low expectations. Nicki Minaj has degraded her own reputation as a rap artist in my opinion over the last few years, and that in itself has been troubling to watch, but not nearly as troubling as watching "Anaconda" for the first time. My lord, what has happened (as if this even needs to be rhetorically asked)? You know, I used to be under the impression that "Stupid Hoe" would be her ultimate low point visually, but I guess I was mistaken. At least "Stupid Hoe" was outright comedic and seemingly reveled in its own ridiculousness. "Anaconda" is a video that does not know what it wants to be, and fails at any comedic effect (which is really the only thing potentially going for it), and therefore fails as a video entirely. I mean, I suppose this chain of events is to be expected though when analyzing Nicki Minaj's direction in the past few years.

Stupid Hoe is a Pop masterpiece.
Nicki's imagery is beyond most women in the entire world. She can do no wrong at this point.
