I know this 'cus I'm a student, but I feel like if you're looking for a normal job it really doesn't make a difference what college you went to? Unless it's not like some crappy community college ofcourse.

Like if I wanted to be a Teacher (ew not really) I could still get a job @ a school despite if my degree was from University of Georgia and not Harvard.

Like I know pay would be a lil different.

But idk. Am a student. Am still learning, am wrong probs.

I think so too. Some people join every club and join sports just to look well-rounded, but it doesn't make much of a difference if those experiences don't have some correlation or aren't helpful in building a profile of how good an individual you are. I think they look more for individuality, rather than textbook student traits.

If you're a Harvard-educated school teacher making $40k a year or whatever they make in the USA, you're doing something terribly wrong.

Well being a teacher is a hard market to get into. School boards would take the person that went to the better school as opposed to someone who went to a not so good school. Although knowing the right people is what matters the most. I know some people who are making over 100k per year without even finishing their degree.

An Ivy degree secures you much bigger opportunities (considering you take advantage of them) - particularly in internships.
