I never shaded it to begin with. It has a strong prechorus and great verses (and it's bridge is one of my all time favorites). I just don't think the chorus is strong.

But what's a "strong" chorus to you ? Not every song can have a "screaming/Bad Romance-ish" chorus, that's why I don't get the Monster/Scheiße shade, both songs have, IMO, great choruses.

Idk. To me, a chorus makes or breaks a song (most of the time, though there are definitely exceptions, such as Monster). I could get around Applause's messy verses because it's chorus was that catchy and had tons of momentum. Aura has a fantastic chorus that is ruined by everything else it is surrounded by.

I mean, Marry The Night is my favorite song by Gaga but I don't think it necessarily has a strong chorus (it's actually very repetitive).

What saddens me the most about her not releasing Scheisse and Monster is that first of all the GP never got to hear those masterpieces (although Scheisse has 10M views on Vevo and Monster is on an album that sold millions).
And secondly the performances and music videos that got away.
