I am so entertained by how many stanbases are threatened by Carrie and the rumor of SB halftime especially a certain fanbase that seems to always be threatened when Carrie does something before their artist.

I just sit back and laugh. Carrie usually will dispel rumors on her fanpage so we shall see if she posts but the CMA twitter did tweet about it earlier and then deleted it

Perfect timing would be to do lead single premier at the CMA's and release the album around SB time if they are waiting till early next year with all the 4th quarter releases that are coming

Apparently an announcement is coming in the next couple days. They usually announce the performer in Sept so I guess it's not to early.

I never knew Carrie could make so many fans of other artists seethe so easily

Definitely one of my favorites too, but it's from Some Hearts and she'll probably sing before he cheats and maybe Jesus take the wheel from that. Can't see her perform another from that album, unfortunately....

I think she will skip JTTW with her set list being pretty much upbeat and it with it having religious undertones, it wouldn't fit in the fill of a halftime show

She was on the FC earlier and didn't post anything in the SB thread. She has always shot down the rumors on the FC if they are posted. It's interesting that her camp is so quiet if this is false
