That said, this kind of scenario is something Bruce Springsteen never did....for the past 15 years, his band has had 3 or 4 more musicians than needed, (including his wife)
Of course, there was that time around 1989, where Bruce laid off all but one guy from his E Street Band and decided to move to LA and use a different band. But everyone knew that wasn't permanent.
And I don't think she got fired. She's not moaning about it on Twitter like Grant.
