I was very against mid-week music video releases, but you have to consider that it can be a pretty good thing. The first two or three days probably get the most views out of the entire week and so as long as you give a song 2-3 days for streams, it'll help that tracking week and then the following tracking week won't have as weak of streams as it could have had the video been released on a Monday.
It is ensuring that you have a strong boost but not so strong of one that the song plummets right back down the chart. I.E. PnP could have maybe spent 3 or maybe 4 weeks in the Top 40 had its video been released in the middle of the tracking week instead of a Monday, but noted... It probably wouldn't have had as high of a peak as it does now.
Took time, but I like it now
