CIRCUS is a killer album.

I'm not, has never been and will never be a fan of Britney Spears, okay? Good.

To me she's really overrated (average kinda B+ dancer, not a vocalist for sho, not a very original entertainer neither, kinda too bubble-gummish for my tastes, and so on...)

THAT SAID... i have to admit she's learned how 2 choose the best producers and the best sounding jams that serve her weak-cat-voice the best way possible !!

BLACKOUT was a stellar album, especially the Danja's productions : brilliant. Gimme More was a masterpiece and it's amazing how she ****ed up all the promotion of what could have been her best effort to date.

The task is hard for CIRCUS.
Britney has been more often in the gossip mags than on the billboard charts lately. She's been acting all crazy.


Nevertheless as a follow-up album, CIRCUS offers a very strong set of songs, sufficiently well-crafted and infused with stellar jams to take the pop crown back from Rihanna and leave Beyoncé-Sasha-Fierce-whatever-her-name-is to DUST !! Britney even pays herself the luxury of some kind of ecclecticsm (pop, dance, bubblegum-r&b , european sounding jams, rock) and somewhat innovative in the sounding department.
CIRCUS is as good as BLACKOUT.

Only difference, Britney seems saner and back to normal. She seems focused and ready to rock the world by storm. Plus she looks gorgeous.

The pop princess is back with a vengeance

She must be thinking : "Christina take this, Beyoncé take that. GAME OVER bitches !! I'm back" ;-)
