I think we're just getting old. All the kids I know love Disney Channel. They'll probably say this too when they're older, and then the kids not even born yet will say the same thing, etc. etc. until we're all dead.
I grew up on it during that time period and honestly, the shows back then and the shows that premiered were still decent, except for that first season of JONAS. Jonas L.A. was pretty decent actually because they gave the show SUBSTANCE during the second season as opposed to forgettable CRAP that the first season was.
It wasn't until Shake It Up and Fish Hooks premiered that it REALLY went downhill. Both of those shows sucked. Then when Hannah Montana ended, the channel started losing its quality even more and that's when I started watching less. When Suite Life ended, I pretty much only tuned in on Fridays to see WOWP.
Once WOWP was over...THAT was when Disney Channel officially sucked. I always knew that I'd stop watching the channel once that show was over.

I refuse to believe this. My shows were GOOD. It can't be age. It just can't be.
Raven Symone deserve some type of reward for helping these girls get a LIVE ACTION sitcom on disney post 2005.
And if it wasn't for her show breaking the 65 episode limit rule, Hannah Montana, Suite Life, WOWP, Good Luck Charlie and all the shows today wouldn't have been able to reach 100 episodes or more (or at least near it).

Exactly!
I don't understand how people say Hilary open the doors... good sis was done after 2 seasons and 65 episodes.
Good sis Raven passed 65 episodes in Season 3 and went 100 episodes by 2007.
actually it got way bigger after 2006 High School musical 1 and 2 were huge and Hanna Montana and wizards of Waverly place were very successful. Camp rock was also huge and we were introduced to Demi.
How can some of you say "I stopped watching after [show] ended" but think a new show sucks? Did you just see some random episode by accident and based your entire opinion on that? I mean, I'm not trying to/going to defend family programming to a bunch of adults, but still?

Good sis should have started in post 2009 or 2010.
Because,
Disney channel was still in my opinion amazing in 2006-2009.
