The thing is.. i don't really believe she has changed as much as it would seem; other than i think she has begun to understand that the music world is really just a business and that it doesn't matter if you are the most talented and nicest and have the most fans etc; the music industry and the media and the world can hate and judge and misslabel you and put you down.
so she's out to prove in spite of it all she can still be the biggest and best and sell the most, and that'll prove its always been rightfully hers and not a fluke.
just look at Emily and Ben and Liz and you'll see she's always had that steely quality of being able to walk away and move on.
Same with Jake, she felt too involved and yet used so even tho if he wanted to try again she made sure it couldn't happen by writing WANGBT.
My theory is Taylor feels all these people have used her and let her down i.e. music industry, cmas, acms, country radio; so she feels she can't ever allow herself to fully trust anyone on a business basis. Especially after the way those 3 dancers kinda betrayed her for Katy after Katy betrayed her for john, whom she felt betrayed her.
Then again its very late and I've been awake for 20 plus hours so my psychobabble is probably all just psychobabble.
One thing is for sure tho; she's no longer the naive girl from 2006 that sang "APITW"

. Writing about your feeling from an obvious traumatic experience, giving a heart felt response back isn't good enough. And they criticized her because it was "condescending". But, best believe, if that was Kanyes lyrics he would've been praised to high heavens!!!!!!!.
