I understand but, It's like you keep trying to throw up examples, Togas date back all the way to Ancient Rome, we all know what they are, Well all know they are unisex, however
Dresses aren't.

You the type of parent that would let their children do whatever makes them happy.

I was not raised like that and i won't raise my kids like that. In life you may want to do something but you are are restricted but then you later realise why you was restricted. It's about learning and sometimes children need to learn why they can and cannot do certain thing's.

If i was to forbid them from wearing a dress I would give them an explanation on to why I am restricting them of what you guys would call "expressing themselves". If they still want to do it when their 18 then I would would not stop them but I will still throw in my two cent's.

I guess I will be the only Strict parent.
