Like for real. The only time ashanti sold well is when she was riding Ja Rule. That Era is over now and that is why Ashaniti and her good good self couldn't pull in more than 90k. Ashanti is through. Brandy is just beginning .

I think that, as underrated as she is, Brandy will be one of the few to actually have longevity. She will have a career of 20+ years, IMO.

Ashanti always had well sales before the declaration, brandy is really irrelevant right now...her comebacksong didn't make it to top 50 yet, Ashanti's peak with TWTILY was #36 so i really don't think brandy will sell more than 100k first week...never....

But "TWTILY" had zero impact. "Right Here (Departed)" is a masterpiece and radio is just picking it up within the last week or two. Even if it didn't chart higher than Ashanti, and probably still won't, I think that people appreciate her music, and her presence in the industry, more.

It's so different. PCD doesn't have a loyal fanbase, just casual pop fans who buy their singles off iTunes. Brandy has dedicated fans who buy albums. Why do you think she can keep taking long hiatuses between albums?

Because Brandy is a respected R&B artist. She is not singing trashy pop songs a la "When I Grow Up"... Brandy is classy and the Urban audience loves her. She will break 100K, I'll put money on it.
