We don't have a thread for Eau De Gaga? I can't find it
There's this one here, but I remember there was another thread with about 8 pages on it that I can't find. The last few pages were starting to get messy so maybe it was deleted or something.

It not a secret that the GP left Gaga after BTW. It was not what people expected . at you expecting a song called Judas to smash when she sings: I'm still in love with Judas, baby.....
And the hype after TFM was so huge that BTW(album) sold 50% of its sales overall in USA in its FIRST WEEK. I have seen members here saying that they first bought BTW and listened to it after that. Do you realise how high the expectations were?
It sold decently WW but bombed in the US. If it did well WW, it means this line is clearly not a problem.
And I agree that TFM influenced BTW's first week sales, but that's it. It still sold more than 4M copies WW after its first week.

etc. Say what you want about the album, but it did have longevity and I don't believe people in January 2012 and even during the last months of 2011 bought the album "because of TFM's success" and "the hype". They bought it because they liked it.
The quality of music on that album is just phenomenal. Nobody else in the world could've made that record. It's brilliant, ballsy and sums up everything I love about her in 14 tracks. The bonus tracks are pretty great too. The Fame could never, TFM and its mostly basic production can't touch it, despite sometimes superior songwriting.

I actually gave BTW a chance the other day and I think it has some great quality music and I don't think anyone will disagree, whether they like the album or not or whether they agree that the album scared the gp or not, which it did.
Marry The Night, Government Hooker, Bloody Mary, Heavy Metal Lover are seriously amazing songs.

What is so phenomenal about the overproduced noisy songs with vocals recorded in the bus The ONLY song Id agree that is phenomenal is TEOG
Credits to Sakamoto for dat iconic avi And everything about me is iconic so...
And actually I am not a BTW hater. Its just that some users claim it to be something out of this world when its a bunch of old sounds mixed together and some terrible lyrics. Sure BTW has some good songs(Judas and TEOG,HML, MTN too) but its nothing special.
