How do you stop being shy around guys? And not like in a sexual way or anything.. like.. I really don't know how to be friends with guys since I've mainly been palling around with women for the past decade. My boyfriend has this couple he lives with and two gay other flight attendants I want to be friends with but I just get so shy around them.

He's fine. He had a really bad attack the other night but he's on vacation and feeling a little bit better. He's currently in Philly meeting up with two of his flight attendant friends.

I feel the same way dude but I learned how to communicate with them now because when I was in Greece I was surrounded by straight guys in the hostels and they loved me for me. My being gay didn't affect them at all in fact they embraced it. I've come to discover most people don't normally mind but then again I don't know how it is where you live
