It would help with exposure to C2C since no song from that album will get airplay
(That will only help if the actual single gets airplay though, )
It is interesting though. While just rumours, we have a radio station claiming new material when her Australia dates start, which is when the app countdown ends. All this alongside ARTPOP Act II tracks being registered lately, Gaga saying she's continuing ARTPOP next to CTC's release and Gaga talking about the future plans she has with Bobby ...
You know, I was slightly against ARTPOP Act II, just because of the negative tarnished image ARTPOP holds, but in a sense, we're still benefiting - new Gaga music, prolonging the ARTPOP era to make up for how short and empty the first act felt, more music videos instead of just the two we got, etc... And who knows, she might re-vamp artRave for the new material like with The Monster Ball.
I hope they're smart with the release though. They need to bundle it with the original ARTPOP so it can benefit and go platinum thanks to the release, similar to TF/TFM. If they plan on releasing it at all ...

A pop single wouldn't be a bad thing though. It's not like C2C Is absolutely going to garner huge mainstream sales. Accolades are more likely with C2C. But I don't see her touring during a single right now. Not after the TFM fiasco. It's a bit too much for her really.
The fact that the first four tracks on The Fame are some of her biggest hits. Basically twenty straight minutes of 2008 GP slayage.
Listening now, the album was full of potential singles. I could see it for all of them except Brown Eyes and Summer Boy (the trash of the album, in other words) tbh.
She looks so young and fresh here. This is exactly how she needs to look when she's promoting her next era. It's like a more mature version of her old self, which is perfect
