Don't hate on the good sis, Taylor. It was a pretty good attempt; her voice obviously is not really strong compared to people like Adele, but her voice sounded nice on the verse.

Anyways... Taylor won't be a threat to Adele as far as album releases go; Paul Moss confirmed she's releasing on October 13th, and if Adele is releasing her lead single in October, then she definitely won't be releasing the album in October as well.

Also, November 24th is literally like, four days before Black Friday this year, so they'd get a lot of sales from that, probably, although the source is not entirely reliable. And I find it very hard to believe that they'd want three of the UK's biggest artists releasing albums on the same date. Take That isn't that big outside of the UK, though, right? I can't see them posing a threat to Adele and if One Direction is stupid enough to think that their sales will top Adele's, then they might as well leave the music industry right now. I mean... You'd have to be a total idiot to willingly release an album the same day as Adele for the sole purpose of seeing how much better you can do than her.

A November 24th release date would be great, though, although at this point I wouldn't mind a January release date either because she's used to doing it and it's worked for her. Whatever she decides to do, though, I'm sure it'll be great. The sooner we get new music from her, the better. I just hope she picks the most logical release date possible.

November 24th also might be a potential release date because if she releases in a certain country on the 24th and then worldwide or in major countries on the 25th, it may be released on a date that coincides with the album title? I don't know, just a thought.

EDIT: And yeah, Ichi, that is a shame about the Civil Wars. I never really got into them but they weren't bad. And I know Adele was very fond of both of them and was close friends with them. That's really too bad.
