I wasn't telling you how to do your job, I was just pointing out that they're both under nicknames on ATRL's rules so I thought that they're both considered nicknames under the rules, but over the top ones are warnable.

They aren't, and I'm sorry if I'm coming off badly here, but we've always been very clear on this rule and it's a very old rule that people should have had more than enough time to digest. I found it a little bit rude to tell me I'd better do some reading when I've spent nearly a year enforcing this rule now, but again, sorry if I sounded attitude-y.

I don't know if this is the right thread, but I was wondering if there was a way to stop these ads that take over the entire page every time you click on a thread or page. I believe they were only supposed to last like 4 hours before and I get that they bring money to the site but the last three days I've had an ad that goes from 10am (when Im usually first on ATRL) to 7pm (before I leave for work) Its extremely frustrating to have to deal with the site already being a little slow and then have to wait for a pop up to load with every page click.
Any info on how to stop this or how long it is going to last would be much appreciated because it's really making me want to leave the site altogether.

There's nothing that can be done about the ads right now. The admins are working with the ad providers to correct problems and make browsing ATRL more enjoyable.

Oops.
I've always been told that nicknames are warnable if towards an artist like 'Successica Legendson' (that still KILLS ME btw ) but they're ok if they're about a song/album, like 'Successful This Way' or 'In The Charts'. Is that right?

Something similar, I get that this sites servers are 'sponsored by Hivelocity' but on mobile I keep having this thing where whenever I click on a link it will redirect me to their website until I refresh the page. Is that supposed to happen?

Yes; "nicknaming" inanimate objects and musical content is allowed, so long as it is positive or neutral.

I've been browsing ATRL for only a few months before I joined, so yeah. And like some members complain about : some posts which are flamebait or use nicknames sometimes don't get reported or warned, so it makes it hard to understand the full meaning of a rule. I've seen some nicknames go unreported, so naturally, I'd assume they're allowed. But judging from your description of the rule, apparently, they're warnable; it's just that no one bothered reporting them for the mods to see.
And I'm sorry if I sounded rude, forgive me?

No hard feelings from me - I don't have it in me to hold a grudge, especially over misunderstandings!
Interpretation of rules and moderators accidentally missing things do cause confusion, I agree. For that reason I feel it's best to only go by what you've read from a moderator or official pages on the site.
