I don't even know what was the point of your post, honestly.

I was comparing it to her 2014 releases because....ummm... she's supposed to put twice the effort into HER singles that the GP is going to hear AND buy, and not some free songs that may or may not reach a big amount of the GP.

And all people with a sane mind agree that this is Nicki's weakest material she put out this year (excluding So Bad), so you don't have to feel sorry, hunTy.

I felt this way too. But, the thing about most hip hop heads (men) is that even when they praise her they don't truly support. Like all you see on KTT is that " That verse is fire, I won't buy her album, but she can get this ****" She's more of an object to them anyways. As far as the song goes, it's no different than French Montana's "Pop That". It's just a summer club record.

True. I remember this being a topic right before pf dropped. When she decided to do RTM leading into the album release. But I guess "Monster" and "Romans Revenge" cushioned that. Something tells me she'll drop THAT record about a month before the release of the album. Either way I'm curious as to what she's cooked up, because regardless of how people feel about this song she's more consistent lyrically now than she has ever been.

I'm doing the most about this song cause I know my fave has wayyyyy more to offer.

Take it like this: we were having a conversation with each-other about the good and the bad PF:RR brought, and Maxx said that "if it would have had success, she would have continued to put music like Super Bass and not quality music like she's doing now." (it was before Anaconda, lol).
So, if everyone likes and accepts the song, she's just gonna continue to serve us this kind of music. Hell, I haven't listened to PnP in more than a month, but you can't deny that it's a good song, even though it may not be of my taste, that's why I didn't bash it that much. But this... if there was one word to describe this song, it would be "regression". Like, if she had kept the outro, all the hard work she has done post-PF:RR would have gone to nowhere. Why spend ~2 years making up for old mistakes when you're going to repeat them again?

I couldn't care less about this song, it's just 1 song after all, and I have plenty of Nicki material to hold me off until TPP drops, but I just can't see my fave like this.
