So since the mega rate never happened, can I make a suggestion?
Why doesn't everyone just submit their top 10/20 k-pop songs of all time, then from the final list or submissions in the first place, have only one song per artist?
It would prevent people trolling, give everyone a say into which artists they want included, and be a hell of a lot less stressful than a mega rate.
The songs with the most votes can be the representations of the genre overall.
