I totally agree. This has been going on since 1999. Everytime they've had a single or album out near the same time as each other it's like who will win? They're both amazing artists, with two amazing songs out right now. And The Promise is still selling strong, over 68,000 this week..

I think the chart may end up like this next week:

1 X Factor
2 Leona
3 Girls Aloud
4 Beyonce/Britney
5 Britney/Beyonce/Guru Josh
6 Britney/Beyonce/Guru Josh


As for figures, im thinking Hero can pull at least 95,000-105,000 next week, Leona maybe around 60,000-70,000. Girls Around around 50,000. And then Britney and Beyonce are both just on physical and i can see both selling around 40,000-45,000 this week. And with Guru Josh i expect him to sell around 35,000-40,000 area.


Which would make for a HUGE top 5! Maybe the highest sales this year for a Top 5

I really don't care if she don't get that #1 thing that much now. The song already doing REALLY well everywhere in the world, so it's not that important to me now. Except hopefully she can get that #1 spot on Billboard. If don't, then what the hell, it's not the end of the world anyways.

I think it's been the Leona fans in this thread who have been pointing out for the best part of a week that none of the four is likely to hit #1 given the huge sales of the X-Factor single.

Obviously you need some taste if you cannot branch outside of Beyonce. If I Were A Boy is a pretty bland song compared to the rest of her releases. I don't get how it's becoming so huge everywhere else. And it's not because it's off a new album, because Deja Vu never even got this attention, and that was a masterpiece.
