Curate doesn't mean she'll be the only artist on the soundtrack. Just means she picks what goes on it. I'm guessing she'll have 2 or 3 songs though which is still great! Curating such a massive soundtrack is a huge honor - the Hunger Games soundtracks are always top-notch - both previous have been in my Top 5 albums of their respective years.

The same complaint I keep hearing about “Chasing The Sun” is that it’s either boring or underwhelming. First of all, it isn’t boring, it’s just subtle. Secondly, don’t y’all know how pop music in these situations works? You release the safer song first to ease into things, then smash with the second single. Think “Toxic,” “Poker Face,” “We Belong Together,” “Wrecking Ball”… the list goes on. This is a reintroduction period for Hilary — people need to know that she’s actually back before she brings out the big guns.

well, i don't really know what you're into but if you're looking to branch out into say alt. pop/r&B i'd say start with BANKSY, Jessie Ware, Charli? FKA is not easy to get into at all, but she's another to try. their is JUNGLE (great album), PARTYNXTDOOR (bae), Majid Jordan, a two-piece called inc. (really good) and maybe SOHN?

but again, i suggest just play around with it. you may enjoy some tracks from a genre, and others from another. entirely subjective. best sites to take a gander @ would be Consequence, HypeTrak, Fader, etc. (NOT P4K, they suck).
