Copy the link to the post, taking only the number - in your case, 23180231 - and add it after a semi-colon of the member's username. It'll look like this: [QUOTE=Smooth;23180231]

Then you copy and paste the post and end it like a normal quote

Exactly. Artist Base threads are more casual so we are more lenient towards offtopic conversations. But it still gets warned if it gets too much.

The offtopic warning exists to keep threads clean and tidy. It was in the Bang Bang single thread and you guys were talking about using smileys and emojis on ATRL. Those posts were clearly offtopic.

I really don't understand the point you're trying to make. You replied with emojis to a post that was talking about emojis which was clearly offtopic in that thread. Your post was part of the offtopic conversation and therefore offtopic as well.

There's a clear difference between using a smiley to react to a post that's ontopic, and using an emoji to further an offtopic conversation about emoji's.

What do you guys think about the idea of an ATRL's Music History Thread.
Something to shine light on artists spanning all genres and generations, showcasing their backstory, career highlights & impact/influence, etc. Threads like Ace's 'Greatest Popstars of All Time' really put things into perspective as far as how little most (myself included) know about artists before their time. Would it be practical or too much work?

I think it is a great idea, Kiddo. Would love if we could finally get some appreciation towards the leading ladies of the 1930s-50s tbh. They deserve love too.
