Yeah but it's all personal anyway. If you haven't gotten bored of it then it won't be overplayed for you, but personally I got bored of the feature a while back so when it gets used now - out of the blue, not fitting in with the style of the song - it does make it unlistenable for me. It's all relative ofc, there's only a couple of songs that I've hated since the trend was "hot".

Co-sign. It's not about "trendy."
It's like...if you have no choice but to eat a bunch of McDonalds burgers every day, you get sick of them, right? But then, like, a month later, someone offers you some gourmet masterpiece. You probably *still* won't be into it, though, because your perception of the original idea of what a hamburger is has been permanently tainted by lessor hamburgers with poor quality ingredients being force fed to you.
That's how I feel about dubstep.
