Beyoncé and Jay Z might be headed for a split, but hip-hop’s royal couple has an $84 million reason to stay together for now.
That’s how much their “On the Run” summer concert tour is paying them, Page Six has learned.
With breakup rumors swirling, the duo is rocking through a 21-stadium tour, and music industry sources tell us they’re being paid $4 million per gig, guaranteed and independent of ticket sales — totaling $84 million for the couple to share.

Yeah that was my theory, $4M per show is amazing if it's literally straight to their banks at $2M each or whatever. Considering a show that grosses say $5M would only provide $1.7M to Bey and Jay at $850k each (using Billboards 34% to artists formula), this is a great deal if true

Thats after they pay out the fees and stuff I'm assuming cuz the article said the ticket sales will be more than $100 million?

Meantime, their tour is expected to bring in more than $100 million in ticket sales. By comparison, the Rolling Stones raked in $126 million from 23 shows last year in what was the sixth-highest-grossing tour of 2013.

Just got back from the Seattle show! Bey's merchandise is literally ***Flawless, the show was great. Bey's stage presence is unreal, so is Jay's as well. The sound was kinda awful, I couldn't hear some of the show and the stage was a little disappointing :/ BUT it was a great show and I can't wait to see B on her own and hopefully at an arena!

No matther small or big tickets sales and gross are.

LN really paid them huge money.
No wonder mrs carter asia tour was canceled for this.

I've never thought about that, seems like a probable reason Asia didn't happen despite being in the original press release

the second rose bowl date is struggleing they've added so many tickets because like the day before yesterday only 3 sections were dark blue and now 13 sections are not worried though, since 2nd Jersey and NOLA both basically sold out the day before and day of sale

The Mariners said 41,200 attended the concert at the stadium on Wednesday night. It was only the second concert in the stadium's 15-year history.
