Rihanna and her team were working on "new material every month" thing to get her to these sales. This was especially visible during Loud era. Teen love thag as they have short attention span. Eminem features, Kanye features, Guetta, Nicky etc. Katy actually went #1 with song availablefor download year before it became a single.

What difference does it make if rih has more albums or more successful featured singles? The question is who is more successful, it doesn't limit a person to the amount of success. Fact is love the way you lie and the other successful featured singles add onto rihanna's success whether you like it or not. What's more katy has had features also this decade, just because hers weren't successful and rih's were doesn't mean we shouldn't count them.
That being said rihanna remains more successful.

And rihanna deserved those featured Grammys as well, she wrote her verse and the hook on run this town and her input in all of the lights was very influential on how great the song turned out to be.

I kinda agree with you on RTT (that song is flawless by the way), but her input in All Of The Lights is minimum...

But back to the topic:

Katy and Rihanna are pretty much the same level of success...
Let's see what R8 brings to the table since PRISM is kinda stale... that could change things up.

& Katy has none. I fail to see where you are going with this. Sure they may seem corrupt or overrated but ultimately a Grammy is the most prestigious award in the music industry.

and if katy had a little critical acclaim to cling to then that Grammys not being considered seriously excuse would be valid. But rihanna's music is more critically acclaimed be it by critics or award ceremonies so Rihanna beats her OUT in that area, it shouldn't even be an argument
