First of all, she hasn't sold 158M records, not even close. Not anyone's fault Monsters choose to believe label-inflated figures that are as realistic as Rihanna selling 40M albums.
Use common sense y'all. Let's pretend these numbers are real, there's no way she'll sell another 42M at the rate her career is going. The ARTPOP era was a complete failure and barely scrapped 8.4M records (ARTPOP: 1.85M + Applause: 4M + DWUW: 2M + G.U.Y: 50k + Others + 500K). Her sales have been rapidly declining since her debut so she'll sell even less with her next era. She might not even sell 5M records this time. Her career is pretty much over and I'm not even trying to be shady but it's the truth. Don't lie to yourselves because it's not healthy.
PS: Billboard doesn't track worldwide sales, they claimed Britney Spears sold 100M albums back in 2012 but that doesn't make it true. They also claimed Born This Way sold 8M in 2011, unless y'all believe those lies. That's how "reliable" they are when it comes to tracking worldwide numbers. Keep believing such non-sense and clinging to 5 year old sales like they mean anything these days though. Slay.
