See, I don't really care that much about whether an artist writes their own music; I might respect the artist more but it doesn't really affect how much I like the actual music, so long as they can sing it convincingly. Sia wrote her whole album and it still sounds like lobotomized dreck; Rih barely ever picks up a pen but her sings are often great. It all depends on the material and execution for me.

You see, that's a very poignant line, but it's completely drowned out by Sia's delivery, which sounds like she's trying to sound like Rih and failing miserably. It's like a movie; you can have an amazing script but if the acting's **** the whole movie's kinda ****.
