The same reason John Legend's video is: the themes of self-love, empowerment and acceptance present in both videos. Colbie's in particular has gone viral in the last two weeks. Both videos have gotten coverage on lots of newspapers and websites.

exactly what I'm trying to say, it was already number one in sales and now there is a second version adding another 15% on top of it's overall sales. the song is massive compared to the other right now

ps. Black widow sales are exploding. Nothing but green and dark green for all versions in the last 48+ hours. Getting really close to top ten now probably. number 8 on shazam and blowing up on streaming

It is, as is his album. A lot of these viral video hits aren't necessarily translating to audio streams as of yet - "Word Crimes", Colbie's "Try", and John Legend's "You & I" aren't top 100 on Spotify and Meghan Trainor's "All About That Bass" is only #72 compared to its' much higher position on iTunes.

Just use Kworb's website for now. I read somewhere you have to divide the numbers by 1.15 to get close to BDS numbers.
