I used to, too. He always seemed like the one who could pull off a Justin-ish transition.

But he has like 0 ability to handle the media, so now I'm not so sure. He has accidentally ignited controversies and cannot cope whenever people say negative things about him, as a brief tour through his Twitter meltdowns demonstrates

After the 4th album, they may give it another chance with the 5th album which will flop and then everybody will try to go solo. Their albums' sales are decreasing with every album and it wont be that long when they are no longer able to sell their music.

When boybands break up and members go solo they usually try and make music that sounds very different from that of their boyband. It is impossible to predict which member will go on and succeed as solo artist. It is unusual for boyband members to go on and succeed as solo artists. Robbie Williams and JT are the exceptions and not the rule, and their success was not predicted.

Except all of their albums have sold 4-5 million with ease, their first weeks have only been getting bigger, SOML was their biggest hit yet after WMYB, and their current tour is HUGE. I'm not sure how that = huge flops in the near future.

Oh, I forgot to answer the question Anyways, the male Girls Aloud will fulfill their contract, then take a hiatus after album 5 to pursue solo projects. After a few years they will come back together for a greatest hits album and reunion/farewell tour. Their solo endeavours will play out like the girls:


Cheryl = Liam: the most attractive and marketable. Successful but local to UK.

Nicola = Zayn: the 'coolest' member who will make a flawless but underappreciated album or two.

Nadine = Harry: his ego will drive him away from the boys and will be his downfall. Solo album flops.
Kimberley = Louis: just there (plus I could see him releasing a show tunes cover album )
Sarah = Niall: alcoholism.
