Well, 'defeated' . I think Shunsui was the only captain to successfully defeat an espada (Starrk). Unless you count Tosen's defeat by Komamura and Hisagi. Barragan died by Hachigen using the espada's ability against him, and Harribel was cut down by Aizen himself after she took too long to kill Hitsugaya, Lisa and Hiyori.
Ukitake got knocked out by Wonderweiss
While Shinji, Shunsui, Soi Fon, Hitsugaya, Komamura Lisa Yadomaru, Love Aikawa and Rose were cut down by Aizen.
I'm pretty sure Hitsugaya, Komamura, Soi Fon and Ikkaku were the only ones who used their Bankai in the Fake Karakura Town battle.
But I see why you all like it so much
